We use the word "Initiative" Because this is what we are! We are not operating under any company guidelines or investors. We are leveraging the power of crowdfunding to fund our projects and address real life problems such as the Housing Crisis, Independent Renewable Resources Research and Stray Animals Care.

We are a hybrid initiative that offers renewable resources research and  Quality of Life improvements for our community or any community in need through revenue that was produced primarily from crowdfunding but also from our own projects.

Leveraging the created revenue we will fund our projects and any projects that aim to assist other communities in need!
All the fundraisers that we will support will be handled in the same manner as our own. Everything will be accompanied by photo evidence, bank statements and reports!

A lot of communities are left out of the crowdfunding sector because they are in un supported countries. With our network of partners we can change that. We will provide access for communities to be able to raise fundraisers and also we will make sure that the fundraisers are legit from real people that are in real need of a helping hand.

Our main focus is to keep the initiative "humanity" oriented. This means that we need to remain independent and distanced from traditional investors or banks. We use the crowdfunding platforms as a main funding tool and at the same time we aim to create more fundraisers that will benefit our community so as to gain traction and publicity for our own projects.

We are an initiative that aims to study and research renewable resources but also to actively make our world a better place in the process and provide photo evidence while doing so.

While our own projects are running we will also post local fundraisers for the people in need in our community.

In GreenHumanityInitiative we are commited to transparency, every donation is protected by the respective plattform and also after every milestone we will post photos, videos, thank you notes and expenses lists publicly both at our fundraiser's plattforms but also in this website.

Our services are offered for free. Every fundraiser has an expenses analysis at the end, and the expenses for investigating the legitimacy of each fundraiser are included. The only amount deducted from the donations will be a 5% of the total fundraised amount that will be deposited to a college fund that will support the academaic future of youth in need. 

We commit and make our personal mission to deposit 5% of the total fundraised amount to a college fund account for the youth. That's it. We strongly believe that the future must be built on a strong basis. And there is no stronger basis than education. 

We will research for families in need and we will proceed with investigating the case. If the case is legit we will proceed with using this 5% to support the academaic future of the children.

Currently we have planned 1 project that will be published aside with their respective fundraisers. 

We previously had 3 projects running but due to lack of manpower we were forced to temporarily shut down our Stray Animal Care and our Renewable resources research! 

Humanity is in crisis. We are experiencing the transition from housing being a necessity to housing being a luxury. Worldwide we see a housing problem. People do not have where to live, huge funds have accumulated properties and have inflated the prices and slowly but steadily the available quality houses are accumulated to a lucky few that were born in the right family. We will try to change that. It is our core belief that housing is the cornerstone of everyday life. In our house we spend the majority of the day. A quality and affordable house can create stability in somebody's life. Stability and peace of mind. For years we see people wasting money on rent and suddenly the landlord "needs" the unit only to see it available 1 month later with double the rent. We will attempt to change that, IF you pay for your house then you must own it at some point. We will try to fund this project through crowdfunding so as to have full control over the rent and to be able to keep the rent low without investors or boards breathing on our necks. We will focus on creating quality, affordable and eco friendly housing that will be rent under Rent To Own contracts and the rent will remain steady for ever. The only rent adjustment that we will allow is per inflation rate every year. 

If you currently live in rent, imagine that for a moment. In this way we aim to relieve our community of the housing stress. The reveniew produced by this project will be rerouted towards maintaining the already existing units and any additional reveniew will be used to support this project expand to other areas in need. 

Rent To Own contracts are an agreement between two parties that the party A will rent the property A for x years and at the end of the contract party B will transfer Ownership of property A to Party A. 
In other words if you pay rent and dont break the contract, at the end of the contract the house is yours. No banks and no interest involved. Housing is a necessity NOT a luxury.

Our team is small, right now it comprises of 3 people.

And 1 person acts as an intermediary for the funds because Greece is not a supported country in various crowdfunding plattforms.

We are running the initiative in our free time, we all got jobs to keep and families to raise. The Initiative is NOT created to generate profit for our own use, it is created to generate revenue that will fund the rest of our projects and our research. 

For the abovementioned reasons some delays on the updates and the reports can be expected and anticipated. 

This initiative is, and will always be humanity oriented. We can not preach that we try to make the world a better place but turn a blind eye to our fellow humans suffering.

We will give prominence to the problems of our community or any community that will get in touch with us and we will address them in the best way possible.

We will handle the rest of the fundraisers in the same way we handle our projects.

We commit to make a difference. After we have stabilised our own 3 projects, if the need arises, we will divert available funds from our own projects to the local fundraisers. We are not looking to get rich, we are looking to give a helping hand to anyone who needs it. All the expenses and deposits that we announce will be published and followed by photographic evidence or bank statements or both. Transparency is our cornerstone.

We commit to be transparent with our supporters, we will post any accusations that are thrown towards the initiative and we will leave non without an answer! 
We are few, we are underfunded, we are volunteer oriented but we are HERE and we are REAL!! 

We know that the Affordable Housing Project will raise a lot of brows and we will face extreme resistance by the market and those who do not want the rent to own contracts to be widely adopted!
We WILL fight back, we WILL resist and we WILL NOT BACK DOWN!
